At Disneyworld they got rid of the Animatronic glory that is Country Bear jamboree. The ear doctor and I both feel very strongly about this, so we knew that part of our day would be spent in the cool air conditioned theater watching the show. It did not disappoint.
All over the part I saw little girls with the cutest Micky rubber bands in their hair. Now, I'm not usually one to wear a lot of Disney branded stuff, but I just couldn't pass these up. They're pretty subtle, right?
In our vast Disney experience, we've determined that the best ride for taking pictures is the autopia.
We ate dinner at Tony's, an Italian restaurant just inside the park gates. The place was inspired by Lady and the Tramp, so of course....
Tonight the park stayed open late for a special pirate and princess event. They had a bunch of stands all over the park where they were giving away "pirate treasure" (mardi gras beads) and a special parade. You had to buy an extra ticket so TONS of people cleared out of the park. The people who paid to stay late all dressed up as pirates or princesses. In our family we wholeheartedly subscribe to the "when in Rome" mentality.
Awww...sad about the Country Bear Jamboree. I was livid when Disney put that obnoxious parrot in the Tiki Room! Love your photos--you make a perfect pirate/princess pair.
