Roscoe is a heartbreaker! I must admit, I"m a little redneck too...as you can see by the fact we have a chicken coop in our backyard. SHHHHHH don't tell the HOA!
To answer your question, so far our chicken coop doesn't smell at all. We constructed ours to be a "tractor coop" so we move it out onto our grass during the day. When the chickens do their "business" and scratch the ground, they till their special "fertilizer" into our grass and it makes our yard healthier and gets rid of the poo problem. Cool eh?
Aww...he is too cute! Is he a boxer? If so, they are such good dogs and known as one of the best dogs to have with children...not that you have children, but you know, when you do he'll be great!
