Dinner with a stranger

I've been asked about a hundred times in my life who I would most like to sit down and have dinner with. If I could choose anyone in the whole world who would it be. And I'm always a little disappointed in myself because on the spot I can never really think of someone.

And to tell you the truth, most time I can't think of someone I'd like to eat dinner with more than the guy I already get to eat with every night.

But today if someone asked I know who I'd really like to sit down and talk with.

Hans Rosling.

Have you heard of him?

He's a statistician.

And he totally gets that educating women all over the world is the very best thing we can do to make it a better place. And I like that.

Who would you choose today?

I like how you chose someone wise and who does good things. I always choose people like Tim Gunn or Tina Fey.

Your profile photo always makes me laugh. Also, you live in Boulder, why haven't we hung out?

Nice pick. I love hearing other people's answer to this question.

After reading a book about the Revolutionary War, I am quite keen on putting Henry Knox on my cosmic board of directors. He was so young to be laden with so much responsibility as one of George Washington's generals (guns of Ticonderoga, anyone?), but he did it with aplomb and a pretty irreverent sense of humor.

That's my kind of dinner table conversant.

I would choose Katherine Hepburn (alive of course). I read her biography and seemed like a pretty ballsy lady:)
