Any ideas?

I know a bunch of you are just oozing creativity and have great contacts out there. Does anyone have a great source for bulk, cheap card stock? I'm in charge of the decor for the Christmas party at my church and I really want to make these for each place setting:

But my budget is SOOOOO small. Any thoughts?

Jam Paper has good prices: http://www.jampaper.com/index.asp
My Mom & I made something similar last year to hold popcorn & you definitely want a stock that's rigid but not too rigid or it's hard to get the paper to roll correctly. Good luck!

I often get mine at staples...some don't have as many choices of colours. If you don't need 500 (what the pack usually contains) the copy centre will sell you as many as you need.

I don't know if it would work, but red butcher paper would be cheap.

do you have a hobby lobby out there? they often have their cardstock on sale for 1/2 off, and it's usually pretty inexpensive anyway.

Roberts always has coupons for 50% off one item each day. You don't even need to bring a coupon with you because they'll have them at the door.

I guess stealing from work is out of the question, since it's a church function and all... ;)

Michael's also has their "50% off one item" coupon you could use as well. Those are super cute!!!

You could use parchment triangles - you know the kind they use to decorate cakes. They sell them at Joann's or Michaels for $6.99 for a hundred. Then you could use a christmas stamp and stamp a design on them. After they're stamped then make them into the cone and add your ribbon and tag.

A little glitter goes a long way to make things sparkly & festive. At Joanne's you can definitely get a couple of vials for ~$5 and you've got insta-winter wonderland magic!
