Ooh, close call, but I think I have to say green.

yeah i have a feeling i would be practical and matchy and do the brown...but my fun (likes to pretend i'm still young and hip) side would definitely go green!
I say if you are going with a different style - use an exclamation mark and go with a different color. Otherwise it loses the punch.
So GREEN... although, I'm thinking the shape of the brown chairs in WHITE.
Or GREEN, I think I just like the shape of the brown ones better.

The brown lets to rug become the focal point of the room -it really sings when it stands alone. just a thought.
