Spo-kompton

My mom sent me this picture. It is a shot the neighborhood where I grew up. It's from our front yard looking down our street.

That's a lot of snow, and she said 10 more inches were on their way. Needless to say, I'm not too sad about not living there anymore.

Updated: I thought I'd add a cool action shot of my Dad, the King of the Snowblower!

You couldn't see our garbage can because I had just dragged it through the snow back to the garage.

That is crazy snow!!! I think I saw a week of tiny flurries that didn't stick when Matt and I were living there! Glad I'm in Arkansas...supposed to be in the 50s on Monday. Ha ha.

P.S. You know Ferris still would have school in session.....:o)

Sorry Barkers - District 81 closed school all week, although Friday was a already scheduled as a day off, to be fair.

You would think that all of these tough NW students would be in school, but school has been canceled the entire week because they couldn't keep up with clearing the roads for the buses (sp?). Driving is crazy, you just slide from one deep snow ravine to another.
