Cool Denver House Friday

I'm not sure if I'm yet a city girl enough to buy this house, but it sure seems like a great investment property. New construction is going up all around this little guy and it is literally blocks from downtown.

This lovely 3 bed, 2 bath, 1666 sq ft brick house was build in 1916 and is listed at $210k. It would really need some elbow grease, but if we were up to the challenge it could be a very lucrative option.

Plus, wouldn't a window basked with daffodils look so cute? Does it look too much like a shop to you? I can't tell....

I think you could also have a roof patio..which would be oh so much fun!

oooh. I like this one.

whether or not it looks like a shop would depend on whether or not you put an "Open" sign on the door and a bunch of pastries in the window. Without those things, it totally looks like a residence.

If you were in St. Louis, that question wouldn't even come up. That's how most of the houses look here. Also, window baskets on brick isn't really the easiest thing to install and install right. I guess I'm just turned off by the cover over the front porch with the metal pillars.
